World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade je prvý oficiálny datadisk k populárnej MMORPG hre World of Warcraft. Bol vydaný na prelome polnoci 16. januára 2007 v Európe, USA a Austrálii a 17. januára 2007 v Kanade, Novom Zélande, Južnej Afrike a v Singapúri. Po prvom vydaní 16. januára sa počas 24 hodín predalo okolo 2,7 milióna kópií, čo činí hru najpredávanejšiou v týchto regiónoch. Hra mala na Slovensku veľkú odozvu, v známom obchode s počítačovými hrami – Brlohu sa totižto organizoval veľký polnočný predaj tejto hry z 16. na17. januára 2007.

Potrebné pre hranie: K hraniu je bezpodmienečne nutné mať nainštalovanú hru World of Warcraft a prístup na internet.

Novinky:Nainštalovaním datadisku sa prejavia tieto zmeny:

Maximálna výška dosiahnuteľných úrovní postavy sa zvýšila na 70
Nová profesia: Jewelcrafting (Výroba drahokamov)
Socketovateľné predmety
Nové rasy:
- Blood Elves (Krvaví Elfovia) na strane Hordy. Možnosť výberu zatiaľ nedostupnej triedy paladina.
- Draenei (Draeneici) na strane Aliancie. Možnosť výberu zatiaľ nedostupnej triedy šamana.
Nový kontinent: Outland
Nové zóny: Eversong Woods, Ghostlands v Eastern Kingdoms a Azuremyst Isle, Bloodmyst Isle pri Kalimdore.
